Founder and President
Daniel Lopez specialized in early-stage high-tech startups as a venture capitalist. Based in San Francisco in the 1990s, his team of 5 professionals evaluated about 100 deals per month, and Excel quickly proved inadequate to the task. A Harvard-trained computer scientist, he developed in-house tools for IDG Ventures to manage its heavy dealflow starting 13 years ago. Daniel’s experience as an investor and end-user of dealflow systems has given Sevanta Systems the unique insight to fully understand the needs of its VC clients.
